Ripoi Anamata, Ripoi Inamata traces more than 180 years of weaving knowledge across six generations of the Hetet and Te Kanawa whaanau. Bringing together significant taonga, archival material, contemporary works and important loans, the exhibition explores how raranga has been carried, shared and advanced over time. Presented alongside Hautāmiro: Bound by the Winds by Mataaho Collective, it reveals weaving as a practice of innovation, creativity and connection.
