The most iconic Christmas event in the Waikato returns from the 13th – 21st December for another year of Christmas tree-ties.

This year’s Trees at The Meteor will encourage creators to create a tree from one of our five categories: Hobby Tree, Mini Tree, Kiwi-ana, Positivi-tree, and Sustainabili-tree.

Tickets available at the door only! (No online ticket sales)

When you come to see the giant Chrismas tree in Garden Place make sure you also bring the kids down to 10 Garden Place to see the Christmas window display that will be there from 20th Nov and throughout December.

Letters to Santa

25th November - 9th December

‍

Santa loves getting letters! If you'd like to send a letter to him - his elf, Jingles, will be placing multiple Santa Mailboxes around Kirikiriroa - including a HUGE mailbox in Garden Place (right next to the Christmas Tree)!

Jingles will even have a special letter that you can print out and write on at home to tell Santa what you've been up to this year and what you'd like for Christmas.

Join Jingles and all his friends as they jingle all the way down Anglesea Street for the ICONIC First Credit Union Christmas Parade. It's going to be a jandal-rockin', pavlova-poppin' Christmas extravaganza!

We are excited to bring Stories in the Garden back for its 6th Season!

Come on a magical adventure under the trees in Garden Place. Enjoy an hour of storytelling and games with characters from Enchanted Entertainment.

In the event of rain, the event will take place in the central library.
