Urban Reimagined brings together nine local artists, architects, designers and developers to explore new possibilities for Kirikiriroa’s streetscape and public realm.

Each participant brings a different perspective — from architecture, lighting and spatial design to public art, development and creative practice. Together, they respond to the dormant potential of the city, imagining how underused spaces, overlooked corners and everyday urban environments could become places of connection, creativity and possibility.

Brian White – Founding Director, Edwards White Architects | Architect
Brian is committed to design excellence and the revitalisation of the public realm. As an experienced project leader, he has helped build an award-winning practice across diverse sectors, with a particular passion for architecture and urban design.

Pienaar Piso – Founder, Vision Complete Earthworks | Co-owner & Developer, Pullman Hotel Kirikiriroa Hamilton
Pienaar brings extensive experience in project management, operations and large-scale development. His work across civil construction and property reflects a practical understanding of how ambitious projects can shape the city.

Zander Wastney – Creative & Founding Director, Designwell
An industrial designer with a curiosity for materials and manufacturing, Alexander works across interiors, architecture and brand. Through Designwell and Daymark, he explores how design can add value to the way we experience spaces and everyday life.

Frazer Baggaley – Urban Innovation Lead, The Urban Advisory

Mark Servian – Communications & Marketing Manager, Momentum Waikato | Instigator & Project Manager, Riff Raff Public Art Trust
Mark brings a passion for communication, community and the arts. Through his work with Momentum Waikato and the Riff Raff Public Art Trust, he has helped bring ambitious public art projects to life and championed creativity in Kirikiriroa.

Meredith Devoy – Lighting Designer, Moth Lighting
With a background spanning fine arts, interior design and lighting engineering, Meredith explores human-centric lighting, biophilic design and responsible outdoor lighting, using light to enhance how we experience the spaces around us.

Liam O’Brien – Architect & Director, How Good Architects
Liam creates thoughtful, well-resolved and practical architecture for clients who value quality and clarity, balancing creativity and functionality to create spaces that work beautifully in everyday life.

Yoomie Ahmed – Spatial Designer, Strive Creative
Yoomie specialises in residential and retail environments, bringing together spatial design, brand and storytelling to create thoughtful experiences where the physical space and its story align.

Martin Necas – Sonographer, Researcher, Author, Presenter & Watercolour Artist
Hamilton-based Martin combines a career in medical imaging with a passion for expressive watercolour. His bold, impressionistic landscapes bring a creative perspective grounded in both technical precision and artistic observation.
