Bookshop Day 2026

Saturday 10 October is Bookshop Day. Poppies in Casabella Lane will have treasure hunts, giveaways and more, as well as your chance to buy this year’s stunning Bookshop Day tote bag featuring artwork by Coco Solid. Come along and celebrate from 10am to 4pm.

Spend $25 or more and get a lucky dip prize. There are books, journals, totes and more to be won. (While supplies last, so don’t dawdle.)

Wally will be hiding somewhere in the shop. Find him to claim your “I found Wally” badge.

Buy any two books from the vast Penguin/Random House range to get your free Personal Penguine figurine. (The actual figurines have unfortunately been delayed by wild weather on the high seas, so on Saturday we’ll have “nooks” to give you instead, and when the actual penguins arrive all you need to do is show us your receipt or nook to claim yours.)

One lucky customer will go home with 12 audiobook credits thanks to Libro.fm. Find the Golden Ticket hidden in store to win!
