Love at first bite: Hamilton eateries dish up their best nibbles

Ever wanted to eat your way around Hamilton’s central city? Now you can – one bite at a time.

For the entire month of August, more than 30 central city eateries are serving up bite-sized morsels for Love the Centre’s Love Bites campaign, from nibbles showcasing the best of Waikato produce to fresh flavours from around the world.

Vanessa Williams, general manager at Hamilton Central Business Association, said the idea for Love Bites has been simmering away since late last year and would be their first month-long hospitality event.

With August being a slower time of year for central city eateries, “it just felt good to be able to put something in that could benefit hospitality during a time that they’re traditionally a bit quieter”.
