Featuring ten characters, three actors, and a band, TICK, TICK… BOOM! takes you on the playwright/composer’s journey that led to the Broadway blockbuster, RENT.

Its 1990 and Jon is on the brink of turning 30. His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city, his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue, yet Jon is still waiting on tables and trying to write the great American musical.

An endearing, and thoughtful piece that embraces the universal ideal of holding onto your dreams through life’s most difficult challenges.

What is 'Mahi on the awa'?

The Sentinel Homes Mahi on the Awa Event is encouraging people to move offices for the day to Victoria on the River to get a different perspective, to connect with others, to try different things for their workplace wellbeing and to connect to our amazing space in the Kirikiriroa CBD.

There will be live music, whakawhānaungatanga, massages, delish kai available for purchase, chairs, bean bags, wifi and movement activities scattered throughout the day that people can choose to be engaged with, all while they get their mahi on with one of the best views in the Waikato.
