A play by William Shakespeare - Summer Shakespeare Season.

Dearest gentle reader,

You are invited to the event of the season. We have it on good authority that the Lady Leonata will, this summer, play host to the regiment of Don Pedro of Aragon. This, as Leonata’s own family gathers to celebrate the debut of her daughter Hero.

Will young Hero be lucky enough to secure a suitor from amongst these officers? And what’s this we hear of a war of words between Leonata’s headstrong niece Beatrice and the handsome Signor Benedick?

They never meet but there’s a skirmish of wit between them.

Come, be the talk of the Ton at the 2026 Summer Shakespeare season of the classic enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy, Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare – in the style of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice/the hit series Bridgerton!

Bring a chair, a picnic blanket and perhaps some snacks.

There’s no need to book tickets!

SMOKE & ALCOHOL-FREE / REGENCY ATTIRE OPTIONAL

Thank you to Love the Centre (Central city - Kirikiriroa shows), Free FM and Riff Raff Public Arts Trust for making this happen.
