HOW DOES IT WORK?

Wine N' Dine is a self-guided progressive journey across three standout venues, each serving a signature dish paired with a glass of wine from an exceptional New Zealand winemaker.

When purchasing your ticket, you’ll select where you’d like to begin – from there, you’ll make your way through the remaining venues, enjoying a new flavour, a new setting, and a new expression of the region at every stop

It’s Christmas 2009. The Ashford family home’s buckling at its seams—sagging roof, cracked septic tank. Mum’s got her head in the sand. Dad’s had a stroke. The three adult children, themselves plagued by stricken bodies & cash crises, raise the hard-issue of relocating their parents. Fast forward ten years, the family struggles with calamitous loss, strangers appear at the door & long buried resentments dig their way to the surface.

Bringing the community together through dance irrespective of their cultural backgrounds. Shai teaches across a wide range of age groups – from young children taking their first steps to adults rediscovering their love for movement and culture.

Shai’s mission is simple yet powerful: to promote Indian arts and culture in Aotearoa and share the joy, rhythm, and storytelling of music and dance with everyone who walks through her doors.

Shai is also running an interactive Indian Dance Workshop on Saturday 25th July, 10am-11:30am

This workshop offers a live glimpse into the diversity of Indian dance through 3 styles:

1. Bharatanatyam: Watch a short classical demo and learn basic hand gestures and expressions.
2. Folk Dance: Join in on easy, energetic steps from traditional folk styles, taught in a group format.
3. Bollywood: Learn a short choreographed sequence to a popular track – fun, accessible and made for everyone.

Tickets are $5pp, cash on arrival.
